Goodness I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since I last posted, where did that week go to!!!!!
I want you to meet a new little bunny friend, her name is Jubilee Jenni and no prizes for guessing what she is looking forward to!
Jenni is so excited about the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June and she dreams of standing in the Mall waving her little Union Jack as the Queen goes by!
Dressed in red, white and blue Jenni has Union Jack buttons on her cardigan, a Union Jack button in her ear and Union Jacks all over her skirt! So she is dressed for the occasion and is counting down the days. π
To catch up with other news, at the weekend I attended a knitting workshop with Arne & Carlos of “55 Christmas Balls To Knit” fame. I forgot to take my camera with me (sorry Mia) so I have no photos of the day but it was fun. They are highly entertaining, funny, well travelled people and it was very interesting finding out how they went from designing two fashion collections a year to knitting Christmas baubles and also learning all about their home in Norway!! We then made a bauble of our own, yes I know many of you will find this funny (I know you’re laughing Jane) as I bearly do Christmas in December let alone April but I had to enter into the spirit of the occasion!!
I want to thank the lovely Maggie from Magpie and Button blog for the pretty crocheted brooch I won in her blog giveaway!! Thank you Maggie!
I also want to thank the very kind Lily of Making It Vintage blog for nominating me for the Sunshine Award. Now I have to answer a few questions so here we go;
What is your favourite colour? Green
What is your favourite animal? Rabbit (hence my blog name!)
Favourite number? 3 (absolutely no idea why!)
Favourite non-alcholic drink? Tea
Facebook or Twitter? Facebook, I don’t have Twitter not that I know what I’m doing on Facebook either!!
What is your passion? Animals! I love all animals! I abhor cruelty to animals, I’m a vegetarian and I am totally against animal testing.
Do you prefer giving or receiving presents I love both!
Thank you so much Lily but please forgive me for not passing it on as I just couldn’t narrow it down to five recipients, I’m awarding it to all you bloggers out there! π
I hope you all have a wonderful week! We go on our holidays to France next week and I have a greenhouse full of seedlings that need planting out and more seeds that need putting in so I think I’ll be spending quite a bit of my time out there this week!
Happy new week! π

Hi Vivienne, I think I’ve lost count of how many bunnies you’ve crocheted but isn’t Jenni a sweetie, I think the cardigans really set off the outfits perfectly. Lovely details too with the buttons. The knitting workshop sounds exciting and a bit different.

Just found your wonderful website. Love all your pictures and crafts, and cat pictures. Your pictures make me homesick, as I was born in the UK, being a Midlands girl. We are just going into our winter here in Australia, my favourite time of year and the knitting needles and crochet hook get a good work out. My blog is only new, I started it last year and keep forgetting to update it.

Hello sweet Jenni (and Vivienne!)! You’re adorable (both, really, even V forgot the camera home), and all your little accessories are just perfect! Love the buttons! And I loved reading about the A&C-workshop, it sounds like FUN – and I love the fact you (Vivienne this time) working on C-things in April, that’s hilarious even π
Have a wonderful May, Vivienne, and happy travels soon!
Yours,
Mia

Hi Vivienne!
Jenni is wonderful! You are so clever with all the detailing – the union jack fabric and buttons, the sweet bow and the flag!!!
The workshop sounded fun, and think how smug you will feel this December with xmas baubles made!
Well done on both the giveaway win and the award!
Enjoy your potting on – atleast its warm and dry in the greenhouse.
And a trip to France to look forward to – sigh – shall be thinking of you and will look forward to seeing those lovely photos on your return.

Jubilee Jenni is so sweet Vivienne (with a great name too!) I think I might just need a cardi like hers, especially with those cute union jack buttons! Haha there’s nothing like a bit of Christmas in April, I will probably start designing new xmas products in June, it is still a little early for me yet π Your workshop sounds really fun though. Hope you have a wonderful time away, and hope the weather over there is a bit better than it is here!! Jenny x
