This little lady is Eden and she has been made for my daughter for her new home.
I really enjoyed making her as I love the colours of her clothes. I brought her skirt fabric back from France!
My daughter’s new address has the word ‘eden’ in it, so she more or less named herself. I love the name Eden though, it conjures up images of gardens for me.
On the subject of gardens, mine although no Eden is blooming away and giving me a lot of pleasure in this gorgeous sunshine.
They are talking thunderstorms, now I don’t mind a bit of thunder and lightning but usually when it starts raining here it doesn’t know when to stop and I don’t want the sunshine to go!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
Right I’m off now, back to the BBC news channel as I don’t want to miss the Royal baby announcement ~ so exciting!! 🙂
edited ~ a new little Prince, congratulations to the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge!

I just knew that you would have to make your daughter a rabbit at some stage! Maybe Eden will be the name of a future granddaughter?!!! I will swap the weather with you as I love a bit of cooling rain. I saw 3 magpies this evening so I predict the new royal will be a girl!!! x
July 22, 2013 at 21:41
As it’s a boy I must have missed the fourth magpie!!! x

L must love her little Eden Vivienne, what a sweet house warming pressie. You garden is looking gorgeous, I think the thunderstorms are just transient and then it may be still sunny but a little bit cooler. I must admit it was nearly 38c in my garden when I got home from work, a little cooler would be a little more comfy. The royal birth is so exciting…I think she may be having a girl as she was so sick early on and that is often the sign of a femal baby ;0) I guessed if it is a girl Victoria Elizabeth Diana and George William Charles for a boy ;0) Keep cool x

Hello, Eden. I love your pretty dress.
We’ve had a couple of thunderstorms here, though the temperature hasn’t dropped, so it’s rather muggy. I wish it would cool down a little at bedtime.
I’m so happy for kate & William – they must be thrilled with the new addition to their family.
Wishing you a lovely day.

Eden is delightful She looks very cool and calm dressed in those colours.
I’m always slightly envious of your bunnies lovely hand knitted cardigans.
The cardigan Eden is wearing looks as though it is knitted in the same Rowan Duck Egg wool that I have just treated myself too 🙂

I love the way you often weave a little bit of France into your work, Vivienne. Eden; yes I’m obssessed with garden imagery and gardens with stories attached to them, and I think Eden will give your daughter and her husband a lot of luck in their future together.

Eden is lovely, such calming colours and you garden is looking rather pretty as well. Have to be honest, I am desperately waiting for thunder, it’s hot and sticky here today (again!) and the poor garden is wilting. Perhaps some thunder then the sun again? Bethx
